UK fintech Silverbird was in the earliest stages of launching its international trade account service and needed a unique marketing proposition that could reach, as its own product needed to, across borders. They hit on podcasting as the way to reach people in Asia, Africa, South America and Europe. A small team of me, the host, and a producer designed and delivered a fortnightly show that zero’d in on different aspects of global trade, told from a small business perspective. Episodes and interviews covered cashew farmers in Nigeria to oxygen merchants in India. We ensured the content and guests met the overall business aims of the emerging company, while maintaining high editorial standards and a strong narrative.
